Golden Maple Leaf 2019 - colored enamel
An exclusive set of four gold coins issued by the Royal Canadian Mint for 2019 commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Maple Leaf gold investment coin. The coins are struck in the finest 99.99% pure gold and weigh 1 Oz, 1/4 Oz, 1/10 Oz and 1/20 Oz.
All four gold coins feature a reverse design by Canadian artist Nathalie Lagacé. The coins feature three superimposed sugar maple leaves. The individual veins of the leaves stand out in the detailed embossing. On the largest (1 Oz) coin, the leaves are coloured in green enamel. The inscription "40 YEARS ANS", the year "1979 - 2019" and the initials "NL" are also present. The rim of the coin is decorated with the inscriptions "CANADA", fineness and weight.
The face of each coin displays the denomination (50 dollars, 10 dollars, 5 dollars and 1 dollar), the inscription "ELIZABETH II" , "D.G.REGINA" and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain by Arnold Machin.
The coins come in a deluxe maple leaf shaped box made of varnished maple wood along with a certificate of authenticity in a very limited edition of only 600 sets for the whole world!
