Golden Maple Leaf 2009 - 30th Anniversary - Hologram
A rare set of four gold coins with hologram, issued by the Royal Canadian Mint in 2009 in 99.99% purity of the finest 24 karat gold in 1 Oz, 1/4 Oz, 1/10 Oz and 1/20 Oz proof grades, celebrates 30 years since the first Maple Leaf gold investment coin was issued in 1979.
All four gold coins feature a beautiful maple leaf motif on the reverse. The hologram on the coin depicts the maple leaf in different colors. The motif is complemented by the inscriptions "CANADA", "FINE GOLD OR PUR", weight and purity. The anniversary date "1979 - 2009" is placed below the leaf.
The obverse of each coin displays the denomination, year of issue, the inscription "ELIZABETH II" and the traditional 1979 portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Arnold Machin.
The coins come in a deluxe lacquered maple wood box along with a numbered certificate of authenticity in a limited edition of only 750 pieces for the entire world!
