100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mint Refinery
An exclusive set of gold coins was issued by the Royal Canadian Mint and was one of the most anticipated events of 2011 in the numismatic market. The set is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mint's refinery.
This set includes 4 specially minted Maple Leaf investment coins in 99.99% purity of the purest 24 karat gold weighing 1 Oz, 1/4 Oz, 1/10 Oz, 1/20 Oz which feature the anniversary date "1911 2011" and a special mint mark "100 Years/Ans" on the one ounce coin in addition to the traditional maple leaf. The set also includes a gold plated silver commemorative medal. One side of this commemorative medal depicts the Canadian Mint's Refinery Building in Ottawa, while the other side depicts the original side of the coin, which was minted in 1912. This 24-carat gold-plated silver medal is housed in a box lid.
The coins come in a deluxe real maple wood box along with a numbered certificate of authenticity in a limited edition of only 750 pieces for the entire world.
