Rwanda - Year of the Dragon 2024
Issued for the year 2024 and minted in the purest 99.9% silver with a weight of 1 Oz (31.1 g), the Republic of Rwanda's investment silver lunar coin is dedicated to the Chinese lunar cycle and the zodiac, which in 2024 represents the Year of the Dragon.
The reverse of the coin bears a dragon motif depicted in a stylized mosaic. The Chinese character for the "Year of the Dragon" is incorporated at the top. This is followed by the inscriptions "LUNAR OUNCE" (left) and the weight, fineness and year of issue (right). The inscription "YEAR OF THE DRAGON" is placed at the top against a mosaic background.
People born in the Year of the Dragon (1904, 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, 2024) are characterized as optimists with strong personalities, honoring truth and honesty.
