A unique silver coin partially filled with semi-permeable enamel is issued by the State of Barbados for 2024 weighing 3 Oz (93.3 g) of the purest 99.9% silver with Antique Standard finish and ultra high relief. The coin is part of the Colours of the Wild series and the fourth coin features a jaguar.

The reverse of the coin depicts the jaguar in its natural habitat in the rainforest of South America. The wild beast creeps through the undergrowth of dense vegetation. The rainforest effect is created by filling it with transparent green enamel, which reflects the colours of the wilderness while revealing an amazing 3D effect. The image rises to the rim of the coin containing the name "JAGUAR" and the year of issue "2024" with the logo of the issue.
The American jaguar is a cat-like beast found primarily in the Amazon rainforest region, but is also found in open terrain. Its robust body structure and the strength of its jaws make it one of the top predators. The jaguar's coat is yellow-brown, made up of patches that serve as perfect camouflage in the jungle. It is an important symbol of many indigenous cultures, such as the Maya and Aztecs, where it was a symbol of power and strength. It is now an endangered species.
