The 1 Oz (31.1g) silver investment coin, in the purest 99.9% silver purity, issued by the Royal British Mint for 2024, is part of the "Six Decades of 007" series, which celebrates the unique phenomenon associated with the character of James Bond over seven issues. Both the first coin and the 007 decade are reminiscent of the Bond films of the 1960s.
The coin is an officially licensed product produced in collaboration with the companies producing the James Bond films (EON Productions Limited and Danjaq). The mintage is limited to 100,000 pieces worldwide.

The reverse of the coin reflects the golden era of James Bond through a scene from the 1967 film "You Only Live Twice". Both the reality and the sophisticated technology of the era is the piloted "Little Nellie" machine from the development division of the ingenious "Q".
