Fiji Taku
The silver investment coin issued by Fiji and minted by the New Zealand Mint is dedicated to the very rare and critically endangered Hawksbill turtle, also called Taku. These beautiful coins are minted from the purest 99.9% silver.
Obverse
The coins depict a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ralph Maklouf until 2012 and since 2013 they depict the national emblem of Fiji.
Reverse
The reverse side of the coin depicts a Taku turtle in the waters of the Pacific Ocean along with a purity and weight designation.
