Equilibrium 2018 - Brilliant Uncirculated
The exclusive silver coin issued by the island state of Tokelau and minted by the Bratislava Mint Pressburg Mint in 2018 in the top quality Brilliant Uncirculated and in the purity of the purest 99.9% silver weighing 1 Oz (31.3 g) is the first coin of the Equilibrium series and features the theme of harmony and balance between technology and nature. Other coins in the series will be dedicated to the idea of harmony between civilization and the environment, money and time, work and leisure, and artificial and human intelligence.
The reverse side of the coin features a stylised symbol for yin and yang, depicting the harmony between technology and nature. The idea of nature is expressed by a mature tree and technology by its stylized mirror image.
The obverse bears a portrait of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II by Ian-Rank Broadley set within a custom and right-aligned circle, which is complemented by the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II" and "TOKELAU". The area outside the inner circle is decorated with a stylized plate of plate joint and scales. The motif includes the name of the coin 'EQUILIBRIUM' and the year of issue expressed in Arabic and Roman numerals - 'MMXVIII 2018 MMXVIII'.
