Chronos 2020 - Brilliant Uncirculated
The exclusive silver coin issued by the island state of Tokelau and minted by the Bratislava Mint Pressburg Mint in 2020 in Brilliant Uncirculated quality and purity of the purest 99.9% silver weighing 1 Oz (31.3 g) is inspired by and named after the ancient Greek personification of time - Chronos.
The reverse side of the coin is stylized in the form of a clock face. The hands show the time 11:55 (in five minutes twelve). In the 12 o'clock position, the chemical mark of silver "AG" is indicated. The name of the coin "Chronos" is placed at the second hour. The sixth hour displays the denomination with the numeral "6" and the inscription "DOLLARS". The centre of the coin is a seconds target, followed by a design composed of bird feathers and an elaborate structure in the main field of the dial. The circumference of the coin is decorated with sections of time division and intertwined decoration.
The obverse bears a portrait of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II by Ian-Rank Broadley and the year of issue "2020" divided into tens. Beneath these is an infinity symbol made up of a bird feather and a fine feather texture. Around the perimeter of the coin are the inscriptions "1 OZ FINE SILVER 999" and "ELIZABETH II - TOKELAU". The design of the coin's rim corresponds to the reverse side.
