SILVER DAISY FLOWER 3D 2024
Original silver coin with natural mother-of-pearl inlay issued by the Solomon Islands State for 2024 weighing 2 Oz (62.2 g) in the finest 99.9% pure silver Proof quality. The coin is dedicated to the plant symbolizing purity and fidelity, the daisy.
The coin bears a daisy flower on its reverse, formed by natural mother-of-pearl. The stamens are formed by a gold-plated brass insert. The background of the silver coin consists of daisy flowers and leaves, over which a ribbon bearing the name of the coin "DAISY" winds. On the left side is the year of issue "2024".
Daisy is a medicinal herb found throughout Europe. The tiny plant with white flowers, which reaches a height of up to 10 cm, is known to slow bleeding, relieve indigestion and soothe coughs. It is an excellent source of vitamin C. The daisy flower is associated with humility, symbolizes innocence and is the flower of the month of April.
The obverse depicts a portrait of King Charles III by Dane Thorne in the inner circle with the artist's initials 'DT' along with the inscriptions 'CHARLES III', 'SOLOMON ISLANDS', the weight and purity of the metal and the face value '5 DOLLARS'. The outer rim is made up of floral motifs.
The coin comes in a stylized box with a certificate of authenticity in a limited edition of only 1,500 pieces for the whole world!
