Series History of Aviation - PZL P.11
Exclusive silver coin in coloured design, issued by the Republic of Burundi in 2014 in top quality proof from the purest 99.9% silver in the series "History of Aviation", is dedicated to the Polish fighter aircraft - PZL P.11.
The coin depicts on its reverse a coloured Polish fighter aircraft PZL P.11 designed in Warsaw in 1930. In its time it was considered a very advanced fighter aircraft. It was used at the beginning of the Second World War. In total, these Polish machines scored 126 kills (Luftwaffe). The inscriptions "PZL P.11" and "HISTORY OF AVIATION" follow. The obverse shows the national emblem of Burundi, the denomination, weight, purity and year of issue.
