Detailed description
Austrian Hundred Crown 1915 - New engraving
Long before anyone even thought of Krugerrands, Austria-Hungary was already producing large gold coins - the Hundred Corners. These were issued between 1908 and 1914. In typical Austrian tradition, after the death of Franz Joseph in 1916, official newly minted coins began to be minted, which are still minted today. All of them bear the date 1915.
