Rwanda - Year of the Tiger 2022
The exclusive silver lunar coin of the Republic of Rwanda issued for the year 2022 and minted in the purest 99.9% silver with a proof weight of 1 Oz (31.1 g) is dedicated to the Chinese lunar cycle and the zodiac, which in 2022 represents the Year of the Tiger.
The reverse of the coin bears a tiger motif depicted in a stylized mosaic. The Chinese character for the "Year of the Tiger" is incorporated at the top. This is followed by the inscriptions "LUNAR OUNCE" (left) and the weight, fineness and year of issue (right). At the bottom, the inscription "YEAR OF THE TIGER" is placed on the background of the mosaic.
