Israel's 70th Anniversary
An exclusive silver coin issued by the Bank of Israel in 2018 commemorates the 70th anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel.
The face of the coin features the official anniversary logo. The logo consists of the Star of David, the symbol of the Jewish people, the numeral "70" and the Hebrew inscriptions translated as "ISRAEL" and "HISTORY OF INNOVATION". The coin's rim consists of the inscription "ISRAEL 70TH ANNIVERSARY" and its transliteration into Hebrew and Arabic.
The reverse of the coin features two stylized wavy stripes from the national train, the national emblem of Israel, the English inscriptions "ISRAEL", INDEPENDENCE DAY 2018" the denomination "2 NEW SHEKELS" and their transcriptions in Hebrew and Arabic.
The coin comes in a gift box along with a certificate of authenticity in a limited edition of only 2800 pieces for the whole world!
