A unique one kilogram silver coin issued by the State of Samoa in 2019 in 99.9% silver purity, referring to the Egyptian Heritage.

The reverse side of the coin features profile images of Queen Nefertiti and Pharaoh Tutankhamun in the inner circle. In the centre between them shines the Vedjat (Eye of Horus). The trio at the bottom is connected by the pyramid motif and the figures of the gods, which are also repeated at the top. The inner circle is supported by standing female figures and male figures kneeling in pairs on the decorated capitals of the four columns. The figures are separated by Egyptian icons - from above and clockwise, the god Hor as a falcon, the god Anup with a jackal's head, a charioteer with a drawn bow, a griffin with the body of a lion, the head of an eagle and wings, a scarab with a sun disc, the goddess Isis with outstretched wings, the Nile cross - Anch and the goddess Maat with wings and a headdress. The background consists of concentric circles with Egyptian hieroglyphics. The motif is created in several different depths of embossing, which creates a perfect three-dimensional effect. The "antique" finish also adds a noble patina. The outer ring of the coin is completed with the inscription "EGYPTIAN HERITAGE" and the year "2019".
The Lost Eye of Horus (Vedjat) is one of the most important and well-known Egyptian symbols. As the protector of all Egypt, it was an integral part of everyday life in many forms. It symbolized protection, power, strength and health. Horus, depicted with a falcon's head or as a falcon, was the god of the sky, sun and light. According to mythology, he lost one eye in a battle for the throne with the god of chaos, Sutekh. As the victor, he became the first pharaoh of Egypt, and his successors were his reincarnation.

The obverse shows Ian-Rank Broadley's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the initials "IRB", the national emblem of Samoa, the inscription "SAMOA", the weight, purity and face value.
