Call of the Wild - Roaring Grizzly - Highest Purity Gold - Proof
Issued by the Royal Canadian Mint in 2016 as the third in a series of three "Call of the Wild" coins in a premium proof grade of 1 Oz (31.16 g) in absolute purity of the purest 99.999% gold, this premium gold coin is dedicated to the Grizzly Bear of the Canadian Wild.
The coin features a portrait of a roaring Grizzly Bear on its reverse. The background features stripes that symbolize the sound of the bear's roar. The motif is surrounded by the inscriptions "CANADA", "FINE GOLD", fineness "99999", "1 OZ OR PUR". Below the bear are the artist's initials "PL". The obverse depicts a traditional portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanne Blunt with the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II" denomination "200 DOLLARS" and year of issue.
The coin comes in a burgundy leatherette box along with a numbered certificate of authenticity in a limited edition of only 250 pieces for the entire world!
