An exclusive gold coin minted by the Perth Mint in 2021 weighing 2 Oz (62.213 g) of the finest 99.99% pure gold in Proof quality is being released to mark the 95th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The coin features a likeness of the young Queen on its reverse by medallist Mary Gillick. This likeness appeared on Australian circulation coins from 1953 to 1964. The portrait is accompanied by a floral design on the background. The edge of the coin features the text "H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II" and the Queen's date of birth "21 APRIL 1926. The coin also includes the Perth Mint's "P" mint mark.The obverse shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark with the artist's initials. The rim of the coin features the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "AUSTRALIA", the purity, year of issue and face value.
The coin comes in a presentation box and numbered certificate of authenticity in a very limited mintage of only 150 pieces for the entire world!
