"Mother's Love" - orangutan mother and cub
This exclusive silver coin, struck at the Perth Mint in Australia and issued by the Republic of Tuvalu in 2014 in a premium quality proof of the purest 99.9% silver weighing 1/2 ounce, is the fifth and final coin in the Mother's Love series.
The reverse of the coin features a central motif of a female orangutan lovingly holding the hand of her baby, complete with a tropical jungle in the background, along with the inscription 'ORANGUTAN' and the Perth Mint's initial 'P'. The obverse shows a traditional portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley with the inscriptions 'TUVALU', 'QUEEN ELIZABETH II', face value, weight, fineness and year of issue.
The coin comes in a gift box along with a numbered certificate of authenticity in a limited edition of only 4,500 pieces for the entire world!
