An exclusive silver coin with an embedded Swarovski crystal issued by the island state of Tokelau and minted by the Bratislava Mint Pressburg Mint in 2022 in Proof quality in the purest 99.99% silver with a weight of 1 Oz (31.3 g) celebrates the ultimate works of art created by the hand of man or the magic of nature - Magnum Opus.
The coin's reverse motif is filled with examples and hints of examples of the Golden Section. The interlocking design combines spirals, rectangles and structures into a harmonious composition. The centre of the coin is defined by a Swarovski crystal. The name of the coin, "MAGNUS OPUS", appears in three descriptions. The denomination of the coin, "5 DOLLARS", is indicated at the edge of the coin.
The gold cut is a masterpiece of nature. It is a specific phenomenon that scientists have been trying to decipher for centuries. The obverse of the coin is divided into disparate circles that are filled with stylistically varied designs. Included are Ian-Rank Broadley's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the artist's initials, the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "TOKELAU", the year of issue "2022" and the weight and purity of the metal "1 OZ FINE SILVER 9999".
