One-ounce Silver Coin - Five Blessings
Issued by the Royal Canadian Mint in 2014 in premium proof quality and absolute purity of the purest 99.99% silver, this exclusive silver coloured coin is dedicated to traditional Asian symbolism, captured on ancient Chinese papyri, depicting the five major blessings of ancient China.
On its reverse, the coin depicts the inscription "CANADA" in the left crescent and five animals symbolizing one blessing. A bat for good luck, a deer for success and career, two cranes for longevity and a magpie for joy. In the right crescent is a red Chinese symbol for the blessing of wealth. A red ribbon, placed in the center of the coin, describes the inscription "FINE SILVER 9999 1OZ ARGENT PUR 9999". The obverse shows a traditional portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt with the inscription "ELIZABETH II", the denomination and year of issue.
The coin comes in a burgundy leatherette box along with a numbered certificate of authenticity in a limited edition of only 8500 pieces for the entire world!
