Exclusive silver coin in coloured meteorite design issued by the Fiji Islands in 2012 in top quality proof of 99.9% purest silver in a series of five "Meteorites - Cosmic Fireballs" coins.
The reverse of the coin depicts the motif of a flying meteorite called Kainsaz, which landed in 1937 in Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan in the Muslyumovo region near the town of Kainsaz. The planet Earth and the burning meteorite are depicted in colour in the background. Below the motif, a plastic capsule containing pieces of the Kainsaz meteorite is inserted into the coin. Inscriptions on the coin: 'KAINSAZ', 'RUSSIA 1937' and 'METEORITES - COSMIC FIREBALLS' . The obverse shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II along with the inscriptions "10 DOLLARS.", "FIJI" and the year of issue. Numbered edge.
