Harry Potter - HOGWARTS EXPRESS TICKET SILVER
A silver collector coin in the shape of a train ticket, issued by the State of Samoa and minted from the purest 99.9% silver weighing 3 g, is an exact replica of the ticket for Platform 9 and ¾ from the Harry Potter book series.
The coin is an official licensed product of the Wizarding World co-owned by Warner Bros.
The reverse of the silver coin features the motif of the original Hogwarts Express train ticket, including the starting and destination stations, the name of Platform 9 and ¾ and the ticket number. The edges are decorated with decorative ornaments that are identical to the original.
Platform 9 and ¾ is located at London's King's Cross Station. It is hidden between the real Platforms 9 and 10 to avoid the attention of Muggles. Students reach the secret platform by running through what appears to be a stone wall between the platforms. The Hogwarts Express, a scarlet-hued train powered by a steam locomotive, departs every September 1 at 11 a.m. and safely transports students to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Since teachers rarely use the Hogwarts Express, the only adults on the train are the driver and the witches with a trolley of sweets, which contains a wide range of delicacies, such as Bertík’s Beans a Thousand Times Different, Cauldron Cakes and Chocolate Frogs with a collector’s card.
The obverse of the silver coin bears a portrait of King Charles III in the centre, surrounded by the inscriptions “CHARLES III”, the country of origin “SAMOA”, the weight and fineness of the metal and the face value. The background is decorated with radial rays and the edges are decorated with ornaments based on the original.
The coin comes in a stylish presentation box and comes with a letter of acceptance from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which also serves as a certificate of authenticity. The mintage is limited to 9,750 pieces worldwide!
