Australian Koala - 10th Anniversary

This exclusive silver coin, issued by the Perth Mint in 2017 in premium proof quality in the purest 99.9% silver purity, commemorates the 10th anniversary of the original Koala design on Australian coins.

The reverse of the coin features a koala motif embracing a eucalyptus branch against a sculpted textured background. The rim bears the inscriptions "AUSTRALIAN KOALA" and the anniversary "2007-2017". The obverse shows a traditional portrait of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain by Ian-Rank Broadley with the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "AUSTRALIA", weight, purity, denomination, year of issue and the artist's initials.

The coin comes in its original case along with a numbered certificate of authenticity in a limited edition of only 750 pieces for the entire world.
