Hunters by Night - Black Panther - Smartminting
An exclusive 2021 silver coin issued by the State of Palau, weighing 1 kilogram of the purest 99.9% silver in ultra-high relief and finished in Obsidian Proof, released as part of the Hunters by Night series. The first coin features a black panther.
A detailed view of the head of the black panther is transferred to the reverse side of the coin using Smartminting® technology. The motif is elaborated in stunning detail, which can be seen in the fine texture of the fur. The ultra-high relief sculpts the image of the elegant beast using the effect of light reflections of the fur. The panther is brought to life by the incredibly realistic eyes that glow from the darkness of the obsidian black Proof finish. The motif is complemented by a subtle "2021" year of issue on the edge at the bottom of the coin.
The face of the coin depicts a night sky amidst mountains of wildlife. A fine dusting gives the illusion of shining stars. The description at the bottom states the name of the series "HUNTERS BY NIGHT". The national emblem of the Republic of Palau with the inscription "REPUBLIC OF PALAU" and the face value "$50" is set in the central part of the coin.
The coin comes in a deluxe box with a certificate of authenticity in an extremely limited mintage of 99 pieces for the entire world!
