American Eagle
The first official palladium American Eagle investment coins are minted by the US Mint from 99.95% palladium weighing one ounce (1 Oz).
The reverse of the coin bears the "Winged Liberty" minted profile, which first appeared on the 1916 U.S. Mercury Dime, in precise high relief. The motif was designed by sculptor Adolph A. Weinman.
The design chosen for the obverse was that designed for the 1907 medal of the professional organization of American architects, the American Institute of Architects (AIA for short), the design depicts an eagle and branch surrounded by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "E PLURIBUS UNUM", the denomination, weight and purity.
