Detailed description
Golden 10 franc Helvetia - Vreneli 1913
The Swiss gold ten-franc "Helvetia" (also known as "Vreneli"), minted between 1911 and 1922, are very rarely acquired and therefore highly sought after by collectors and investors.
The coin depicts on the obverse a profile of a woman with wavy hair with a floral wreath around her neck. The Alps are depicted in the background and the word "HELVETIA" is placed above the portrait. The reverse shows an interpretation of a Swiss shield surrounded by oak leaves with the denomination and year of issue. The Bern mint mark "B" is placed below the oak branch.
