"Celebration of Britain" - complete edition
An exclusive set of 18 coins, each weighing 28.28g in premium proof quality of the purest silver, issued by the Royal British Mint in 2009-2010 under the title "Celebration of Britain", is dedicated to the occasion of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The reverse of the coin depicts various themes from English history, science, technology, literature and other disciplines, divided into three sets of 6 coins each, distinguished by a colour element - the Spirit (blue), Mind (green) and Body (red) Collections. The London Summer Olympics took place between 25 July and 12 August 2012, with over 10,000 athletes from 204 countries taking part. London also became the first city in the world to host the modern Summer Olympics three times. The obverse of the coin features the traditional portrait of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain by Ian-Rank Broadley with the initials "IRB", the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II.G.REG.F.D.",the denomination "FIVE POUNDS" and the year of issue "2010".
The coins come in a luxury gift box, each with a card containing a description of the coin (in Czech), a picture and a certificate of authenticity in a limited edition of only 10,000 pieces for the whole world.
