The Royal Mint - limited edition James Bond 007 - Diamonds Are Forever
The British Royal Mint is releasing a special edition of investment bars minted from 99.99% gold weighing 1 Oz. The ingots are issued to mark the 50th anniversary of the film Diamonds Are Forever, whose iconic hero is British Secret Service agent James Bond 007.
The bars are an officially licensed product produced in partnership with the James Bond film production company (EON Productions Limited and Danjaq).
The design of the ingot reflects the luxury and theme of the seventh film of the legendary Bond films. The background on the upper side of the ingot is covered with a fine texture of small brilliant-cut diamonds. The actual "007" logo with the gun motif and the logo of "THE ROYAL MINT" stand out in the foreground. At the bottom, the weight, purity of the metal and the ingot number are given. The reverse is dominated by the title of the film "Diamonds Are Forever", with the word "Forever" repeated five more times on subsequent lines. The background motif covers five cut diamonds from smallest to largest.
Each ingot is numbered and sealed in a protective plastic case (serving as a certificate) with the official "007" logo. The worldwide mintage is limited to just 5,000 pieces.
