Investment gold ingot minted at the British Royal Mint in the highest purity of 99.99% gold weighing 1 Oz. Royal Mint ingots are uniquely serial numbered and bear the exclusive RM logo. The security packaging also serves as a certificate.
The design of the ingot is characterized by a high aesthetic level. The motif for the reverse side of the ingot was created by medallist Jody Clark. It represents Britannia, the female personification of Britain, in a helmet. Britannia, embodying the unwavering pride and strength of the nation, holds a trident in one hand and a shield with the flag of the United Kingdom and the inscription "BRITANNIA" in the other. The background of the ingot consists of a subtle wave structure, which is also a safety feature.
The face of the ingot bears the official Royal Mint logo, weight and purity information and a serial number. The lower edge is decorated with a stylised element of waves, which symbolically protect the shores of the maritime superpower. The background repeats a subtle undulating texture.
