London Good Delivery
Investment gold bars weighing 10g with the Good Delivery mark from world class LBMA accredited refiners.
Internationally recognised standards grouped under the Good Delivery or London Good Delivery label are set by the LBMA - London Bullion Market Association. Members of the LBMA (Bullion Market Merchants Association) include international banks, bullion dealers, mining companies and refiners.
A set of rules has been established by London Good Delivery for trading gold and silver bullion on the London Bullion Market, the largest global over-the-counter market.
TheGood Delivery Rules define the requirements for purity, weight, size, physical appearance, mark and manufacturing process. Refiners are guided by guidelines for determining the weight of bullion, its packaging and the method of delivery.
Good Delivery standards and certifications are also required in other international markets, for purchases of government gold reserves, by central banks and the IMF.
Refiners applying for LBMA accreditation and inclusion on the Good Delivery List must meet this set of stringent conditions. Companies undergo production and quality checks, and their history and financial management are examined. They are then proactively monitored (PMA) at regular three-year intervals.
LBMA Good Delivery List
The LBMA publishes a current list(Current List) and a former list(Formed List) of accredited refineries. If there is a change in production parameters or brand appearance, the original entry is placed on the former Formed List and the current Current List is modified with information about the transfer.
